The year of 2019 represents parts of my Junior and Senior year of college at Indiana University. It also represents a time in all of our lives that is about being carefree or as some say, "the good old days". I think my top ten encompasses the upbeat feeling that my life has been this past year. As it is coming to an end, it is time to reflect. Reflect musically that is. According to Spotify, my top ten most played songs of the year are as follows.... (I do have to admit I made the switch from Apple Music in early 2019).

1. Low - R3HAB Remix by Greyson Chance

2. Scared to Be Lonely by Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa

3. So Close by NOTD, Felix Jaehn, Captain Cuts, and Georgia Ku

4. Hold On by Moguai ft Cheat Codes

5. Call on Me - Ryan Riback Remix by Starley

6. Freaking Out by Arizona

7. Insomnia by Daya

8. Tie me Down by Gryffin with Elley Duhè

9. Cool Again by Shoffy

10. Contact by Lulleaux and Giang Pham

These songs mean a lot to me. They represent a piece of me and how I was feeling this year. Each songs transports me to a place and an emotion. A way to escape the mundane everyday life that we become accustomed to. The first song Low was by far my song of 2019. I listened to it when I was sad, happy, traveling, confused, excited, and that feeling you can not explain.

Maybe I helped you discover your favorite song or maybe these are already in your recent plays. Either way I hope music has had an impact on all of you as it has on me this year! AND if you're curious to watch my Spotify's year in review the video is below. Cheers to 2019 and to an even better 2020.
